Brief About Dr Abhishek Katakwar

Renowned bariatric & metabolic surgeon Dr. Abhishek Katakwar is considered one of the foremost authorities on weight loss surgery for Asians and ethnic skin types.

Dr. Abhishek is a graduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MS) from the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of medical sciences, Sewagram. He is trained in minimal access surgeries from Pius hospital, Oldenburg, Germany. He was also trained in bariatric and metabolic surgery by world-renowned bariatric surgeon Dr. C.K. He is a board-certified member of the American Society of metabolic and bariatric surgery (ASMBS) and The Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society of India (OSSI).
